Just wanted to say how happy I am that when we got to the end of Dinosaurs of Eden, and a prayer for salvation is written, I asked my two daughters 9 and 11 if they ever wanted to pray that prayer with myself or there dad, to let us know. They both expressed an overwhelming desire to do so, even though they both prayed the prayer when they were four, we all agreed, that while that was a positive step at that age, they probably didn't really understand fully what they were doing so they wanted to pray it again.
Thanks so much Carrie for inluding such good, Christ-honouring books in your curriculum which present the gospel to our kids
God Bless,
Shannon

Absolutely wonderful. My son and I prayed the prayer at the end too. My son was saved when he was 7 and has rededicated his life several times now, but it never hurts to say the sinners prayer again. I am so excited for your family! Dinosaurs of Eden was our favorite book thus far!

Thanks so much for sharing! There is nothing that blesses my heart more than hearing something like this! I know the Lord has a plan for each of your children and that He has provided for the moment of their salvation. May the Lord continue to walk closely with you and your children as you journey through HOD!
There is no greater joy than having our children walk with the Lord.
What a special moment, Shannon! One to tuck away in your "mom" memory bank and ponder upon for years to come. These moments are at the heart of homeschooling. They're why we do what we do when it would be easier not to, and they're also the moments to cherish and dwell upon. I'm so happy for you and your dc - nothing is more important than what you just shared - what a blessing!
In Christ,
Julie
