LHFHG Science question?

Hi, I have decided to use LHFHG for my 5 yo dd's K year. I found a great deal on the Teachers Guide which also included "Our Father's World" I guess when I decided to buy, I was thinking that it was the K Science, but it isn't. Will it be over a typical 5yo head? Should I order "The World God Made" instead? If I do go with the 1st grade choice is it in the weekly schedules or will the readings be listed in the back?? How does that work? Which do you recommend we go with?

I don't know about the level of the 1st grade book. I am using the K book. The readings for the 1st grade book are in the back of the Teachers Guide. Hopefully someone else can give you more input on the 1st grade book. HTH

I don't think it will be over your daughter's head. We used it last year with my 6/7 year old son, but my 4/5 son was interested as well. Quite a few of the pages have illustrations of a little girl, so your daughter will be able to relate. HTH.
