Just have to share some results of CTC......

My dd who completed CTC last year told me that she had written a poem just for fun. I must say that I was thrilled when she read it to me. I know it is the result of her poetry study within CTC last year. I would like to share it with you.

Morning Time

The night's for all,
To all comes night,
The peaceful tranquility brings much delight.

The sunrise is good,
The morning is nice,
Like the day's first cup tea,
With a small hint of spice.

The evening's a parade,
Of shadows marching to,
The other end of the earth,
To meet the day's first blue.

Way to go, Kaci! A budding poetess is born. I love this about HOD learning - it just carries over into life. Different dc carryover different parts of it as their talents and gifts become realized, but all usually carryover something. Praise the Lord your precious daughter is using what she has learned and her God-given talents this way! Give her an HOD hug. We're proud of her work!

Thanks for the sweet comments as they encouraged her immensely. She is now writing more poems, and it amazes me how she does it so quickly. When I told her that she was going to do poetry last year with CTC, she wrinkled her nose and moaned. Now, poetry is one of her favorite subjects. Amazing!
