Good Morning,
Today will be my first day officially home schooling my oldest!

I did some preschool stuff last year with him, but now he's a kindergartner and it feels much more serious. Please pray for me today. We're using LHTH with some right side of LHFHG. I'll be back later to let you all know how it went.

Congrats and God bless your day!!!
Consider yourself very blessed to be starting out with such a great curriculum! I wish that we'd known about HOD back when my now fifth grader was starting out! Blessings on a great year!

Hooray!

I have had some awesome first days, and some awesome third weeks.

Have a good day - but if it doesn't go just so - just remember sometimes our best day is not our first day, but with HOD, the scope of the entire year is sure to be a hit and a good fit.

Enjoy LHTH (and whatever you're doing in LHFHG) - it's a wonderful way to homeschool.
In Christ,
Julie

Well, today went great!

We took longer than I was expecting and my 2 year old was getting pretty restless and tired of waiting for his playmates by the end. Now everyone is playing happily, and I have twenty minutes before I need to get started on lunch.
Thanks for your encouragement. I am praying that as we get more into a routine it won't take quite as long to get done! (That will happen, right?)
