A Complaint about this Devotional

Julie, I love the way you have woven little remembered Bible stories, personal experience, prayer and music into the devotionals. But I want more!!! Is there an extension pack?

Thanks so much, Dorla! (Although my heart dropped at first when I read the thread's title!) I am so glad that you are liking my devotional. It is pretty short! Here's the funny thing - when I wrote the first day's devotion for my devotional, it was 8 pages long, single-spaced typing, and that was just the personal story part. I gave it to Carrie, and she kindly steered me in the right direction - can you imagine how thick my devotional would have been at 8 pages an entry?!? I cannot tell you how hard it was to keep each devotional to 2 pages!!! I realized though that if homeschool moms were really going to have time to do it, I needed to keep it shorter. Thanks for sharing, Dorla, and now that I know you well from this board, it means even more to me that you like it, because I really value your opinion and think a lot of your Christian walk in life!

Thanks, Lourdes! Music is so inspirational to me too - I couldn't start my day without it! Today I came downstairs after putting my baby to nap to see my ds raising his hands and singing his Bible verse! It brought tears to my eyes - he was kind of embarrassed I saw it - I guess he was having a personal moment with God that I walked in on. Still, it was a little gift from God I believe, for me to see it. Hope you like the devotional!

That is my only complaint! I want more also. Not more meaning that it is not enough but more in that I do not want it to end!!!!

I literally had a question on God's will for me answered through the devotion today. I thought it in my head and it was a discerning God's will on something I am thinking of doing and it was literally directly answered.

Consider writing another. I think this kind of devotional is much needed among homeschooling moms. We know your family is your first ministry but...we'll be happy if part two is in the making!

I am only on the first week, but I am loving it, too! I am trying to go slow so when I get done I will have forgotten the first few days and will be ready to start again!

I love doing the book monday thru friday, and then on saturday and sunday I get sad that I don't have a page to read and want (but restrain myself) to read ahead the weeks devotion!

You know this isn't a real complaint (at least in a negative way) right? I just so like it that I want more of it...like everday!

I love buying as much as possible from HOD, but with my CD I already had downloaded the MWS album from i tunes. So it's available there, too.
