does lhth or lhfhg cover health, safety, nutrition..etc

Post by mommadonna » Thu Jul 15, 2010 11:09 am

I am going to use a combination of lhth and lhfhg..starting soon and was wondering if health and safety issues were touched on anywhere in there. If not, does anyone have some suggestions on what to use to make sure I have my bases covered?

I may be forgetting something, but I don't think any of those topics were covered in either guide. If you can use something less formal, you might just check your library for age-appropriate picture books on the topics. We just checked out "Dinosaurs alive and well : a guide to good health" - it was pretty cute and talked about those topics. There was a safety one too, as I recall. HTH :D

LHTH and LHFHG have dc actively moving and doing some basic calisthenics, which I love, but as far as specifically teaching the things you've listed, they don't. :) We just did a pretty extensive coverage of the body, health, etc. in CTC within the science box, just so you know that's ahead. HTH! :D
