Tamara,
I'm so glad that you found them!

Our graphic designer worked hard to bring those to any families who desire to link to HOD from their blogs or by email.
Enjoy!
Blessings,
Carrie

Thanks for bringing these to my attention. I went right over and posted them on my blog. I love HOD and am excited to share it with everyone.

Yay! I've been waiting for a banner for my blog.
![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
What a great way to get the word out!
I wonder if anyone could share how I could resize the square banners to fit in my sidebar? I think the maximum width that will fit is about 185 pixels.
Thanks!

YOu should be able to enter a height into the html code...let me see if I can work it out for you. Or at least show an example.
Here's the original code for the HOD banner, not a specific guide. You can do the same thing with one of the other banners that shows a particular guide, but instead of typing "width", type "height".
<a href="
http://www.heartofdakota.com/"><img src="
http://www.heartofdakota.com/images/sha ... a.jpg"></a>
Now, here's the one with the size change made.
<a href="
http://www.heartofdakota.com/"><img src="
http://www.heartofdakota.com/images/sha ... th=250></a>
ETA: To make the particular guide banners fit better, I just changed the height to 220. They fit perfectly in my sidebar now. So you can just change that number until you get the right fit.

Is there a way to use this on facebook? Anyone figure out anything with that?

If you post the HOD web address if your status, it will bring up thumbnail pics and a link with a short description. Also, if you join the HOD group on FB (or "like" it...whatever it is!), then that will always show on your group listing in your profile with a link. You could probably post a pic of a non-linkable banner though.

I have a blog but have never been able to figure out how to add things to the HTML or however that works. Does anyone know of a site that can teach me that kind of thing or how I can add the HOD banner to blogger? I know, get with the times

Ladies,
We're so blessed by those of you who have added a link to HOD from your blog or Facebook. I am incredibly challenged in the tech. world, so I'm thrilled that you are able to help one another with that part. You ladies are great!
Blessings,
Carrie

Thanks!
When you are on your edit layout page, click "add a widget" in one of those boxes in the side bar. It will bring up a box of choices...look for the one that has "HTML" in the title and add it. Then copy and paste the code given by HOD for the banner of your choice. Click save. If it's too small or too large, go back to edit that box. Use the directions I gave above to alter the size if need be. HTH!

You're very welcome, Carrie! DH is the techy one, so I guess learning by osmosis works for grown ups too.
