I have to say that my searching time at the convention was looking for high school additions for my oldest. It really was a stark contrast from HOD. I found myself doing more eliminating than finding. Now that I know there is a perfect fit and what it is like with HOD I have a hard time finding extras that satisfy me. I went to the convention planning on using the next two guides after RTR for 9th and 10th grade and thinking we would do geography with RTR because in my mind the guide would be released too late in my oldest daughter's high school years. I came home and made the decision that since we do Geography with the guides in HOD that we can do our high school geography in 11th and do the HOD program. I see it as a chance to add all the world view stuff I want and I can't imagine missing anything that HOD writes. I realized that nobody would come arrest me if we bucked tradition.

We are so lucky. Nobody comes close to HOD not in content or customer service. You really know that well when you go booth to booth at a convention and then stop at the "happy HOD" booth.
