I don't think I have ever been so ready for spring!! It has been the longest, coldest winter here in the 8 years of my married life! It all started with the week with no electricity...

We are getting burned out with some of our school for ds. Some of it is a waste of time that I've tried to decide whether to finish. (Just when I decide we're going to ditch it, there's something useful. :? ) We are really looking forward to start Bigger as I can see it won't be a time-waster or busy work. Whew!

As soon as there's a nice day...look out mud, here we come!! :o

I said Nope. But Spring will not come fast enough. I love the boys being able to play outside and they love playing on their Pirate Ship. They are just starting to play really well together. But the weather here is nice one day and freezing the next -I think tomorrow morning it is suppose to be below zero again. As far as school we are having fun just moving along. We only do school 3-4 days a week and will finish some time in June. We school year round so it still only takes a year to finish a book. My boys also like having school when we don't have other plans outside the house for the day. It is a nice structured activity for them.

We've spent the last 12 days with sick ones. First my youngest son, now my daughter since Sunday. My oldest and hubby had it last month. So far, I've missed it. I'm hoping it will just skip me. My daughter said it best, "What if you get sick, Mommy? You're the one who takes care of all of us." It's true, and so sweet to realize she understands this. Makes a mom feel good! Anyway, just hope I can avoid it and we can all start getting back out, too.

Yes, but the burnout isn't with HOD, it's with piano, dance, gymnastics, etc... We overextended this year. I won't do it again....
