My son will be doing Creation to Christ next year. We have already gone through Apologia Zoology 3:Land Animals of the 6th Day. Would it work to use Zoo 2:Swimming Creatures of the 5th Day instead? Does anyone have an idea about what else I could substitute with?

Unfortunately, the science notebooking, questions, and experiments within CTC are all specific to Zoo. 3. It is also scheduled to train the child in independence in those skills, which makes it hard to replace the book on your own as you'd need your own activities. I'm wondering how long ago you did Zoo. 3, and whether your child did it independently? If it's been a few years, you could repeat Zoo. 3 doing it with the plans in CTC. If it was very recent, you may desire to substitute with something else but you'll have to replace the plans for that part too.

Thanks for responding Carrie!!! I think we'll try going over it again. He loved it the first time, so he might enjoy going over it again. He is always pulling it out and looking up things in it.
