OK, It's ordered!!!

Post by 6timeboymom » Wed Mar 05, 2008 8:38 am

I got my dad convinced I should order Jamie's schoolbooks now instead of waiting till the conference in june!! (I have to convince him because he's the one with a credit card! He lets me use to order things online.)
Jamie's 9 (10 in Sept.) He's the one who's been my workbook kid...he said, "I WANT TO DO THAT FOR SCHOOL!!!!" when he saw the stuff I was planning to buy!
I got Bigger, with the extension pack, with all the optionals, the queen homeschool for the elem. child, and I already own DITHOR so I didn't need any of that. I'm going to keep him in the math he's always done, and I got him the writing program, too. I think he's ready for that. :-)

I also (selfishly, maybe?) got Greyson who's doing LHTH the Bible songs on CD!! We have them on Tape and it will be nice to just skip to the right spot!! :-)
I'm so stinkin excited!! I needed something happy-yesterday my van literally blew up and tomorrow is my birthday, so I call this my better day!

you know, if I start now I could get to SD in a few hours...if only dh didn't have our (for now) only vehicle at work!! ROFL!!!

thanks!! It's funny about my van because I should get my tax refund the 11th (or so says the irs website!) and we had planned to buy my mom's van. She wants a new one...good for me!! I had intended to try and drive my van until it died and I guess that was yesterday! I had gotten about a mile from the house and it wouldn't shift and it started to smoke!!  Yes, I turned around and made it back home.
Thanks for the birthday-I'm officially in my late 30's now...

(I'm not old-I'm not even grown up yet!!)

Darci,

Congrats on your order! :D You sound so organized! I'm excited for you too!

Happy birthday early. You are so young! I will be 40 this year! Where does the time go? (I still feel 25 in my mind! Now, if only my body would cooperate! :D)

Blessings,
Carrie

I know-I'll be 36, and I don't even feel like a grown up yet!

Time just flies...and I used to scoff at my mom for saying that!

Happy with you on your order, Darci! :D :D

Guess what? My tire literally blew up on our van on my birthday, so I can relate! I was on my way to a friend's house for Bible study and was half way there...right in the middle of nowhere. But, I called my friend and jogged to the highway (got a good mile in :D at a good speed since it was really dark and there were noises  ), and someome picked me up to take me to her house. Whew! But, that van also had no heat or windshield wipers, and it was November. We were ready for something different, and this spurred us on and God provided THAT weekend exactly what we were looking for for the money we had. Isn't God good?!? :D I know He will provide for your family as well!

Happy Birthday! :D :D
