I'm looking ahead to kindergarten for dd next year and LHFHG looks so fun! I didn't find HOD until ds was in 2nd grade and we started with Beyond. I'm excited to do LHFHG with dd.

Yes, we are really enjoying LHFHG. This morning we were having our morning family prayer and I prayed that we would play happily together and be content. After the prayer big J said, "Mommy, Peter Rabbit was not content and he got into a lot of trouble" (from the Burgess books for storytime). I just love the valuable lessons we are learning. Yesterday he asked me if it was the north or south part of the children of Israel that were invaded by Babylon I am amazed at what he is learning and remembering.

We are getting ready to order LHFHG for next year and we are excited too! This will be our first time using an HOD curriculum. It looks like a great program!
LHFHG is fun!!!! I know what you mean about missing the programs with your oldest. We started with Bigger last year for my oldest, so I haven't enjoyed Beyond yet either....and we're going slowly with LHFHG, so it'll be another year before we hit it. Grant loves to talk to Allison and Garret about what they're doing in school because HE doesn't want to miss any fun either. (We usually call him in for help with some really fun things. ) You're going to have another great year!

LHFHG is a great program! And just yesterday my dd5 started talking about a project that we had done LAST year in Little Hearts. Was glad that she remembered!
Enjoy!

LHFHG is so much fun! It's even fun to teach many times over. We've done it twice now, once with our oldest ds, and then a few years later again with our middle ds. I'm looking forward to teaching it a third time in the future with our third ds! That is pretty amazing, but LHFHG is really just that fun. I can't think of any other way I'd want to teach my little ones. It makes them enjoy homeschooling from Day 1, and it gives them the confidence to know they are going to do well in school. I can't wait for you to begin your HOD journey!

We have enjoyed it! They are loving the Buster Bear story right now. I am learning from the history too! It is easy enough it only takes a couple of hours usually and they have FUN while LEARNING!
LHFHG is so much fun! We have done it all year and my little fella not only loves to see the manual come out, but he really have grown so much while using it. He became a Christian after a devotion we read from LHFHG. He had been asking questions for some time, but that devotional just really set things in motion. I see God working each and every day in our studies. Even I am learning things about the Bible!
