I have an Idea!

Post by MamaMary » Wed Feb 27, 2008 9:43 pm

What do you guys think about starting a weekly "Check-In" thread?

You can simply type out what you learned, a project you did, a field trip you took, that kind of thing.

You can post a favorite picture or you can post your blog link. As much as I love sharing what we're learning, I love hearing about what YOUR families are doing even more!

If you like this idea, what would you say to starting our weekly check-In's on Thursdays? You don't HAVE to post on Thursday but those doing a 4 day week can get it going and then you have all weekend?

We are FAMILY!

I think this is a great idea. I love to read about other families and see pictures of what you all are doing! Maybe we could have a separate folder for this?

Sounds like fun! :D I normally do a week in review on my blog on Fridays. I will just post a link to it under the check-in thread.

Thanks for the great idea Mary!

Mary Great Idea!

I had to laugh  because I remember these threads from Winter Promise as well.

For those of us Olive's that need a reason to talk this is perfect but you might not be able to get us to stop talking  .

Great idea girls! :D Do you want a separate folder for this or do you want to keep it on the main board?

Blessings,
Carrie

Carrie,

I would love a separate folder if we could? Maybe we could move the thread started today over? THANK YOU for always being so gracious and helpful :P

I vote for a separate folder. Mostly because it would be easer for people who are looking at the program for the first time.

Ok I am thinking I could be on board as long as it does not involve blogging. And I need you all to explain to me how you get the pictures in the post and do it real simple so you do not confuse my poor brain.
