What genre would Chronicles of Narnia fall under? would it be fantasy?

I think Narnia could be either adventure or fantasy. Whatever works for you.

I would definitely say The Call of the Wild would be an adventure book. I haven't given it to my boys yet (7 and , but it is for sure on the "to-read" list for them as they get older. I remember vividly reading that book in 5th grade as a child. It had a big impact on me. Thanks for reminding me of the book.

I think of Chronicles of Narnia as a fantasy, and Call of the Wild as an adventure - but the 2 genres are closely related and titles could interchanged easily if that fits your overall plan best. It helps me to read through the genre guidelines in the DITHR Teacher's Guide at the beginning of each genre to see if a title would work for that genre. HTH!
