Our HOD week in PICTURES!

Can I just say again how much I LOVE Heart of Dakota! Changes I made this week...., we are going back to T4L'ing for our math. I love the Singapore, but T4L'ing teaches mental math as well as written and it is more independent for my children, leaving me more time to do..., bible, History, Science, Notebooking, Copywork.

If we were rich I would buy HOD programs for all of my friends! That's how much I LOVE them!

That's a nice summary of the week. Can I ask the T4L Math is?

Mary thanks for sharing. Now Steven knows why I keep telling him to put spaces between his words. He was rather excited that another boy was doing his schoolwork too.

Mary, always a pleasure to share in your joys :D Paliz, I believe T4L is Time 4 Learning-it's a web-based math and language arts program, I think.

Mary,

I loved reading your blog! Thanks for sharing your week in pictures. My favorite was the part about Jacob and his enthusiasm over his new Bible. There is nothing better than that! :D

I can't believe you are going to get to see the Nina! My kids will be wishing they could see it too! I love natural connections that happen like that. The Lord has such a plan as He orchestrates our lives, doesn't He. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Mary,

Your boys are just too cute! Okay, Maggie Mae is pretty cute too!

I love actually seeing another family doing the same projects that we are doing. The creation/black tempera project was a big hit here as well.
And thanks Mary, now your blog is another frequently visited site that I just have to visit! Your reliance upon and dedication toward the Lord is very inspirational, thank you!

Hi Paliz,

Time4Learning is an online interactive curriculum. I don't use it for SS or Science, but it is perfect for my children who are visual learners. We pay 14.95 per mo (because I use it with more than one child) and they do all their math and LA online.

It is very weak on the "writing" so I use all of Carrie's copywork and handwriting suggestions. I do everything from HOD except math and LA. I actually would LOVE to do even the math and LA, but T4L'ing makes it more doable for me to use 3 HOD programs. :D

http://www.time4learning.com (has free samples) However, I don't think it's better it's just a good fit for my boys.
