I'm new and hate to ask. But, dd has been having trouble catching her breath recently (no blue lips or finget tips. no signs of a lack of O2).

We just figured out it only happens when she eats. I am thinking maybe an allergy (benadryl alleves the problem). We are taking her in to the doc first thing tomorrow. ANY prayers will be highly appreciated.
Thanks so much.

Oh my goodness! Praying for you! That does sound like an allergy. Be careful. Praying! And thank you for letting us pray with you.

Praying for you! Such a scary thing to happen to a little one. Praying that the Lord will give the doctor wisdom and clarity!

Thanks! The doc thinks it may just be drainage. So we are treating with claritin and mucinex. We are also reducing the gluten in her diet as she was at the higer end of normal when she was tested for celiac. At least we have a plan in place! Now to refocus our energies on school.

Oh, I'm glad to hear that, Amy! You may want to jot down what she had to eat the day you saw her reacting and Benadryl worked. We had to do that and figured out our ds is VERY allergic fish. HTH!
