Whew...thank goodness. My kids love this book, and on Monday when I don't read it, they are going to ask when we get to finish it, I just know it! Thanks for the reply.

That is good to know. We are very excited to use Preparing this year! I have been peaking ahead and am really loving the way it is all intertwined. I think it is an important year to get that over view so that when we cycle through history we know where we are headed. Not to mention to put all the information we learned in Bigger and from our Bible study in context. Enjoy it! :D

You know, I'm tempted to go pick up Grandpa's Box and start reading it myself. But, I'm making myself wait and enjoy it with Grant.

Just one more week...

Oh, we loved Grandpa's Box last year when we did PHFHG! :D I know what it's like to be lonely for it. It is planned chronologically along with the other history books in Reading about History box, so when the "time" is right, it'll show up again. You shouldn't have to wait long... I - on the other hand - will have to wait to read it until my middle ds gets to PHFHG. He's 6 - how will I ever manage the wait?!? :D

I agree that Grandpa's Box was a huge hit here last year when we did Preparing Hearts too! We do use every chapter of Grandpa's Box by the time you finish Preparing Hearts.

Happy reading! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
