Higher Level Math

Post by Kristen » Tue Jul 28, 2009 3:33 pm

Hi Everyone,
Hope you are enjoying your summer! We are taking it easy and enjoying a slower pace, with time for swimming, walks and playing in the river.
I have a question about math. Seems I've been pondering this more than ever. Ugh! Singapore only goes to level 6, right? What do some of you use after that? Or are you not there yet? Just thinking long term. Don't know if I need to, but just wanted to throw the question out there. I know someone (not using HOD) who uses Christian Liberty Press and then switches to Saxon when the kids get older. CLP only goes to 6th grade as well.
Thanks,
Kristen

I know of some people that use Teaching Textbooks or Saxon after Level 6. I haven't researched it extensively yet though.

Actually, after 6th, it is called New Elementary Math and up. See their website at: http://www.singaporemath.com/Secondary_math_s/22.htm. Singapore goes all the way through. Good luck!!
