Notebooking with CTC
Re: Notebooking with CTC
Thank you, Carrie! The Lord has brought you and your family to my mind often recently as you have been working so hard to finish this guide on time. I pray that God has met all of your needs and blessed each one of you throughout this very exhausting time for you. I can't wait to see the work of your hands!

>>>A notebook or paper will be needed for grammar assignments and for Write with the Best.
Hi Carrie,
Can you please elaborate on this a little bit? I would like a bit more detail on the Write with the Best needs. I'm going through my stuff now while all the great back-to-school sales are booming and I'm trying to decide on spiral notebooks, composition notebooks or just plain paper and since I'm not sure what type or how long the actual assignments are in this resource. We used a spiral notebook for the grammar and that worked well for my dd last year, so we will probably do that again for this year, but I'm blind on the writting assignments.
Last year, my dd preferred typing her written narrations on the computer, so is this also an option for the writing assignments?
Any help appreciated!

Charlene,
Yes, your daughter could type her writing assignments for Write with the Best. You will also need to photocopy the Write with the Best passage (provided at the beginning of each unit) to color code grammar-wise (so you can keep a clean copy in the guide itself). We will use 7 of the 9 units within Write with the Best.
Otherwise, you could have your daughter place her writing assignments within her grammar notebook if preferred. We did this last year, however I may have my next son do his writing assignments on loose-leaf paper to file in a binder or have him do them in a separate section in his notebook to keep them more separate from the grammar instruction. Any of these options will work.
Blessings,
Carrie

By the way, did you ladies see that the notebook samples for CTC are up?
