Welcome to the HOD Board!

When we did PHFHG last year, we enjoyed using the composition books from Walmart (they were inexpensive). We used these for science, grammar, and written narrations. For the common place book, we had fun choosing a more special book (my ds used one from master books that had lines, and was a hardbound book). They have special looking books like these as Walmart or Target for reasonable prices as well. Then, we bought cheap copy paper for the notebooking, a 3 inch 3 ring binder, tabs for the binder, and clear plastic sleeves. We got our clear plastic sleeves at Office max because I could buy them in bulk, and they were less expensive. HTH! Have fun with PHFHG - sweeping through history in that manner gave my ds an appreciation for the flow of history, and a deeper understanding of where we are today - it was a fantastic program to do!
