Hello!
I have a question about using the student book (2/3) for DITHOR. Is the student actually supposed to write in the student book or use the pages as a guide while writing out the assignments in another notebook? As for the R&S 2 student book, is the student supposed to write answers in the book or use a seperate notebook as well? It is a nice, hardcover book and I wasn't sure if it is considered a consumable.
I realize that this may be a matter of personal preference, so I wanted to get some opinions before I have my daughter mark in the books. I could definately reuse the books with my other children (and save money next year!), yet we tend to stay more organized if we stick to writing the answers in the actual book instead of accumulating a lot of extra notebooks and papers to write out the assignments!
I hope that this isn't a silly question!
Thanks.

There are no silly questions here on the HOD Board!

The DITHOR student book 2/3 is meant to be written in, unless you choose to photocopy the pages to use it again the next year (HOD has give permission to families to copy them for use in their own home). We used to photocopy and have now gone to just writing in the Student Book, both ways worked fine - I just decided to have my ds write in the book this last year.
The R & S book is not meant to be written in. We do a good portion of it (probably about 2/3) orally and on markerboard, and my ds writes the other 1/3 in his composition book. HTH!

Julie,
Thank you for clarifying that for me!

That is what I'll do!
