TRL vs RME

I'm sure this has been posted a lot. What are the main differences between the two?

It looks like people have had great success with both programs.

Either program is great, but that post Victoria linked is a super resource for helping you pick the one you'd like best. Phonics is such fun - teaching our dc to read has been one of the most rewarding experiences of homeschooling - not that it didn't cause me to want to pull my hair out off and on. :lol: But, when it was all said and done, I was thrilled we climbed that mountain together and had fun (patience is not my strong suit. :wink: ) doing it!
