You homework assignment!

Post by Melanie » Mon Feb 18, 2008 3:28 pm

I was just browsing around on HSR and noticed that there are NO reviews over there for Beyond or Bigger, and very few for Little Hands or Little Hearts (they are with the K reviews).

I was hoping some of you (I'll try to do it too....I've never posted a review) could post some reviews over there. It might help boost Carrie's business!

Hi Mel, (I nicknamed you that means were close now  ) (unless you hate it and then I won't

I e-mailed the moderator asking them to start a HOD review file and because they are in transition w/ owners they cannot do it right now. :(

Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks? )

Mary....you rock girl! (insert little high-five guy here) I didn't even think of doing that....thanks for being the other half of my brain today :?

Yep...Mel is my nickname  I used to hate it...do you remember that show "Alice" and the boss of the diner was named Mel....well, that's what I would think of. (And, I don't want to hear from all you "kids" that never heard of that show!! I know Mary remembers it...I read her blog...we're just about the same age!)

My sister's name is Meridith and her nickname is Mar....she's not crazy about it....makes her think of a horse!

OK everyone, we'll keep checking and waiting for them to add that HOD file! :D

I remember "Alice"! And Flo. And Mel.

If it's any consolation, Melanie, I have a friend with a dd whose name is not Melanie, but something similar, and her nickname is "Mel", too. She's a very sweet girl, so that's who *I* would be thinking of when I see you online.

Well, kiss my grits! You girls are TOO funny!
As long as everyone thinks about Donna's "sweet" (I'm not that sweet all the time...shh, don't tell) Mel....and NOT the other Mel, then I'll just be Mel!

My dh wonders why I am laughing at the computer....he just doesn't understand!

Love the Happy B-day, song! I'm singin' it to you too!

I have never pictured you as Mel from Mel's Diner. You don't have a tiny white greasy t-shirt and a white hat hiding in your closet, do you? Yes, I remember Mel's Diner too, and I LOVED it! That hair on Flo - now there's something you could hide a small car in. I can't picture you that way either - no, you'll just have to remain the pretty young thing with a happy smile I picture in my mind every time I read your posts (unless you start shouting Kiss My Grits!)!

P.S. I emailed HSR too and got no response about adding HOD to reviews.

Don't forget Vera!

I love how these posts end up in a completely different direction!
