Question about LHFHG and History for Little Pilgrims....

Post by sarathan » Wed Jun 24, 2009 6:38 am

Hi!

I was just wondering if those of you who are doing and have done LHFHG..... did you also do the activities in the Little Pilgrims book? I noticed there are some activities at the end of each chapter and I'm not sure if I should do those or not? Thanks! :)

I haven't done it but you certainly could. My daughter was on the young side when we started so I didn't think it was necessary for us to add that in but if you like the ideas, then by all means go for it. That is the beauty of homeschooling and HOD.

Thanks! I probably won't do them... the activities in the guide look plenty enough. :D

We don't do the Something to Do part, but we do go over the words list and orally do the fill in the blank questions. We also do the coloring book pages that go with the book.

You know... I never gave that part a second glance! I guess I always felt that what was in LHFHG was plenty. You certianly could do it if you wanted to though.
