Yes, we're still working on Bigger, but I just couldn't wait so I have ordered Beyond for my 3 older ones - the older 2 will again use the extensions and LHTH for the little ones! I just LOVE the format, the extensions, and the God-focus! I cannot wait to start LHTH with my little ones. We just finished "Joy School" this year with my preschooler and to be frank I thought the word JOY in Joy School would include focusing on godly character & Christian values! With the exception of the Christmas pageant there was NOTHING! What a huge disappointment!
I am so looking forward to keeping Christ the center of our home especially as we learn! Thank you Carrie for creating this curriculum and keep going! We look forward to using HOD in the years still to come - unless the Lord comes first! Of course!

Box day happened today! I want to start tomorrow! I am so excited. Princess wanted to start LHTH today. SO, why wait? LHTH looks so easy to do I think I will start with her tomorrow. I did a little the first finger play for fun and the 2 little ones smiled and jumped right in bopping their heads to the rhythm. When it said LHTH was for 2-4 I really questioned it, but clearly I can incorporate the little guy in our school fun!

Box days are simply the best. I so agree with you about the "joy" comment - without Christ, what joy is there in life?!? I'm so excited for you to use HOD. It is not only academically solid; it is also spiritually grounded. Thanks for sharing your box day!

Thank you for sharing in my joy. We did start LHTH today! Princess LOVED it! She didn't want to stop! Too funny! Since she's my only girl - I don't know if it's a girl thing or a LHTH thing! I'm just trilled that HOD has God in his glory at the center of my children's learning!!!

currently Using
LHTH slowly with my 2 year old
Starting Bigger with my 8 y/o About to add on DITHOR

Oh - you will love it! Such a gentle Christ-focused way to teach your little one! I can't wait to share more! Now, I need to learn to take pictures and post them! I loved seeing the other posting with pictures!

Thanks so much for your enthusiasm and your gracious comments. You have no idea how much you blessed me today as its midnight here in Winston-Salem, and I'm just getting a minute now to check in with you wonderful ladies on the board while we're gone at convention!
