Ordering Creation to Christ

Post by homeforhim » Tue May 12, 2009 4:33 am

Hi Ladies,

I am new to the board and this will be my first year using HOD! I am looking forward to ordering Creation to Christ for my oldest (grade 5) and PHFHG for my grade 3. My question is if I order both guides (and a few other books), will the order be held until it can all be shipped together in August when CtC is released? It would be great to have the PHFHG guide to read over the summer as I have never used HOD before but, of course, I want to be thrifty on shipping ( I am in Canada)! How is this usually handled? Thanks in advance,

Rachael

Hi and welcome, Rachael!

As far as I know, if you order now, everything will be shipped immediately except for the CTC guide and student notebooks. Now, I've never ordered from Canada before, but I believe Mike & Carrie's policies are the same for Canada as the US. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Have fun this year -- you'll love it! :D

Hi Leslie,

Thanks for the welcome! I have been to a few states and would love to get to Tennessee sometime. I see our children are close in age. I have two boys, 10 and 7 right now.

With regard to the ordering, do we pay separate shipping again when CtC is ready to go in August? I am still a little confused! Thanks,

Rachael

Rachael,

All of your items will ship now with the exception of your CTC guide and the Student Notebooking pages. We ship those items free of charge to you in the first week of August as a completion of your initial order. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

We actually live in Oklahoma now, but Tennessee sure was pretty. To make it even more confusing, dh and I were born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario, and lived there until about 5 years ago. Have a Tim Horton's for me, will ya?? :D

I am late replying to this but thanks Carrie and everyone! People on this board are so eager to help; there is a wonderful "atmosphere." Leslie, glad to meet a fellow Canadian. I do LOVE coffee but not Tim's :)! However, I live in the Maritimes and they give out a disproportionate number of "roll up the rim to win" cups here because Atlantic Canada has more Tim's coffee drinkers per capita than anywhere in the country!!

Blessings,
Rachael

Rachael - I'll be doing CTC next year too! I am sooo excited for it - we will have to swap stories. :D Also, I just finished doing PHFHG, and that gave us a most wonderful year of deep teaching, growing even closer to one another by sharing our faith, and seeing my ds become more and more successful with some independent learning. It did my heart such good to see him loving school yet,and still have some hands-on things to do, which is often what goes first in other programs for the older ages. He truly enjoyed his year with PHFHG, and I know your child will as well!
