Recovering and getting back to life slowly...

Post by butterfly113 » Tue May 05, 2009 7:37 am

I wanted to pop in and say hello! I would like to thank everyone for their prayers for my neck surgery and recovery. The last several weeks have been an amazing journey in my life. In the coming days I will write more details on my blog about the surgery itself, recovery and the incredible journey it has been, as I continue to get stronger day by day.
The surgery itself went very well. I ask for your continued prayer of my recovery. My follow up appointment is this Thursday. An xray will be taken, and hopefully show correct healing. If so, I will be able to take the neck collar/brace off, and have a 'big date' with my pillow! Sleeping in an upright, sitting-reclined position has been interesting!
I wish you many blessings. Until next time... :D

Butterfly - I am sure that must have been difficult, but I know even the most difficult of situations are better when God is walking you through it. I praise God for His relationship with you, and I pray for a good night's rest for you very soon. May God continue to carry you through this time, and may you continue to heal and feel healthy once again.

In Christ,
Julie
