Would the program after Ancients be enough for High School?
The other high school question got me wondering if the next guide will be OK for 9th grade. I am more than willing to beef up if need be. Just don't make me jump ship with my oldest yet! Anyway just wanted to ask.

I have absolutely no clue 
but didnt want you to think you were being ignored. I notice that neither Carrie or Julie are on the board today...I'm assuming they are getting prepared for the convention this weekend! I'm sure they will answer you when they return!

Thank you Tiffanie. I did not realize conventions started this early. It's not urgent. I was just wondering for a friend of mine who is probably going to do Ancients with an 8th grader. Wow those girls work hard! Hope they are having a good time.

We're packing today and leaving tomorrow! Plus, I'm using every spare moment to write that new ancients guide, so I truly appreciate everyone's patience on the board as we work to get back to you during this busy writing season. I do think with some beefing up and the addition of a more full-blown geography course CTC could be high school worthy for 9th graders. I'd recommend Mapping the World by Art by Ellen McHenry for the geography add-on. However, you'd need to use DITHR Level 6/7/8 at full-speed for literature credit, and use Write with the Best as scheduled in CTC or another writing program for comp., along with a higher level of grammar, math, and add to the life science to make it more biology worthy with lab.
