Using different editions of the required history books

Post by sharonb » Thu Apr 16, 2009 7:41 pm

I decided that since we were going to study American History anyway, I might as well get the Beyond guide and do it right! I'm saving up for that and should be buying it soon. Anyway, I already have Stories of the Pilgrims and Boys and Girls of Colonial Days, as well as Morning Bells, in my computer, downloaded from Google Books. Plus I have an old edition of American Pioneers and Patriots. How hard is it to figure out what pages to read when you are using a different edition? I wish the guide gave chapter names instead of page numbers... This is pretty much the only way I can afford to use HOD though, so I'm going to have to make it work!

Sharon,

Rainbow Resource has the TOC for Morning Bells online so you can line up the chapter and the page #'s

It also has the TOC of the new version of AP&P so you can compare with the older version's page #'s
