Question about Burgess Peter Rabbit

Post by sharonb »

I am thinking about using Little Hearts, and I already own most of the Burgess books that are used. The only one I don't have is Peter Rabbit. Where can I find this book individually?

If Carrie doesn't sell it separately, you can get it at www.doverpublications.com

Its listed as The Adventures of Peter Cottontail :D

You could also try looking at Amazon.com and maybe buy it used for a bit less money.

I already have Peter Cottontail. Am I confused? Is Peter Rabbit not a separate book?

Hi Sharon,

Welcome to HOD! LHFHG uses both "The Adventures of Peter Cottontail" by Thornton Burgess AND "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" by Beatrix Potter. This is probably what is confusing you. I got them confused too when I was figuring out what to buy last year.

Ahh, sorry if I confused you. I thought you short of the Burgess book which is Peter Cottontail. This book is $1.50 from Dover publications.

You would certainly be able to buy the Beatrix Potter book on Amazon.com or half.com .

Ok, I understand now! Yes, the Potter Peter Rabbit is very easy to find, so no problems there.
