I will make this short I don't have a lot of time and am not a home yet. We are expecting our sixth child April 23, but he came on March 28. I had to have a ememgancy c-section. Long story will explain more later on. He is doing well and me too, but today we may be able to go home. He is in the NICU I have been with him the whole time. Prayer that we can go home today would be great. I had wanted to get online sooner to inform you all of this and ask for prayer, but life was crazy busy! Thank you all so much!!!

Oh, Sheila, congratulations! I'm so happy that baby number 6 is here...and I'm tearing up just thinking about birth and the fears we all have when the unexpected happens. I am so glad your little one is doing well (and you!) and that you may be able to come home today. I'll pray right now that things will be fine and you can bring baby home...I understand being in the hospital and just wanting to have that baby home! Looking forward to more details about how it all went and how everyone is fairing.
How exciting and at the same time it must have been scary. I am praying for you and your little baby. You got past the major developmental deadlines with your gestation so that is wonderful but it is early and that definitely is something to pray about. I will remember your baby in prayer often. Please let us know how she is doing and keep us posted! Praying for your baby to develop on her own to be able to leave the hospital and be healthy and for God to have His hands on your precious little baby.

Congratulations and may the Lord give strength to you and the baby. May His grace be sufficient for your family and have the baby be strong and healthy enough to go home!

Congratulations, holyhart, on the birth of your son. I am praying that he is healthy and there are no complications from his early arrival. My ds arrived 3 weeks early and was more than healthy! Praying that you BOTH get to come home soon!

Well we were able to come home yesterday! Praise the Lord! Hartley is doing well and I am feeling better myself. Being home always helps with that.
So here is the story:
I ended up going to the ER on Saturday the 28th. I couldn't breath well and had a fever. After a few hours of them watching me and mointoring the baby, my fever went up and I started having contractions and the baby's heartbeat was going up to high. So I was rushed off for a c-section and in mintues they had him out. They had to transfer him to a different hosptial and I had to stay until I was stable enough. That was very hard for me. I ended up having pnuemouina. Hartley had to have some meds to help him breath and other things as well. It was such a blur I can't remember everything. Tears come to my eyes thinking about how serious this was for both of us. But I have my sweet Hartley and he is such a blessing. If you would like to contuine to pray for us and a speeding recovery. I have never had a c-section before and this is hard not being able to lift my other kids and work around the house like I usually do! Well I need to go time to feed baby
