I think that I bought the same version that you have (1995?). From what I can tell, the daily readings follow the chapter divisions. Unit 1-Day 1 should correspond with pages 2-3 and 24-25. Unit 1-Day 2 should be "Chapter 1 - Leaving Spain" on pages 4-11. Day 3 would be Chapter 2 and so on. I haven't seen the current version of this book so I hope the content hasn't changed. I've only looked through the first two weeks of plans, but so far the book follows what is written in the guide.

As far as American Pioneers and Patriots goes, the newest edition is quite different from the previous version. CLP added additional content to the end of each chapter, additional questions, pictures, and maps. We do not have a schedule for the old version of that particular book, as the two versions are quite different from one another. You may wish to consider purchasing the new version of the book for $9.95 on our website, in order to get the full benefit of the corresponding activities that match the history readings each day. :D

I got this book at Half Price Books really cheap and was so excited! Now, I'm wondering which I have - old or new?? Mine says "copyright 1995, 2002" and the printing was 2007. It has questions at the end of the Unit, but not at the end of each chapter. Is this the right one?

Thanks Carrie for answering my question...that is what I get for buying the cheap way out....the book is littler than the new one but I figured I could save $$$$. Now I will have to invest in the new version, which is much more fun looking anyway, colorful and big!!!

Thanks
Michelle

Michelle,

Sorry about that! I love old books too. :D American Pioneers and Patriots just happens to be one title that has been revised and updated quite a bit.

Blessings,
Carrie
