I love the pictures and everything too. I'm with the previous poster, Kristin, that we are moving this summer and I'm hopeful that I can set up an organized system in the new home. I'm bugged by our system now, but it seems silly to change it when we are so close to moving. This gets me thinking about possibilities for the next house! But it's most likely that we will be living in a military lodge for a couple months waiting for a home... and that makes me thankful to have found HOD, since I think we'll still be able to carry on with school when there's such a great, organized plan for us to follow.

I love seeing your pretty space!
I have been thinking a lot about those workboxes too. My dd will be in Preparing next year and more of her work will be independent, so that might be a nice way to keep her organized. I'm still not sure yet. My little guy will be in LHTH, so he doesn't need them yet.
We also might move...so I feel like I want to change around our space and organize differently, but don't want to do it if a move is imminent.
I'm a little torn between wanting those cute kinds of posters up - for my son as he'll be learning those things, vs my daughter going into 4th grade likes a more mature space. I suppose if I had room I could make them each their own corner!

I can understand that. It makes it easier since mine are the same age pretty much. I only hang up what we really use and need. They still look at the ABC chart sometimes if they forget how to form a letter and we use our calendar wall everyday. The 100 #'s chart and short & long vowel chart help them too. I want to get some maps to put under our white board and was looking at those today.I'm a little torn between wanting those cute kinds of posters up - for my son as he'll be learning those things, vs my daughter going into 4th grade likes a more mature space.
