How would I do LHFHG in 4 days?

I would like to try and get it all in a 4 day week since we will be working throughout the summer. Any suggestions?

The easiest thing to do is simply do 4 days each week and pick up where you stopped the next week. You won't start each unit on Monday, but it will all flow together just fine. This is how we do it. We only do a 5 day week at the beginning of the year and the end of the year, since we do Community Bible Study.

If you don't want to go over into summer, you could always do 2 regular days and 1 day add it an extra left side and 1 day add in an extra right side. I'm sure there are many more ways of doing it though! I suppose you could just add in a couple extra boxes each day, but then the great connections of the left side are not as connected when they're separated, although it could still be done!

We do two days of work in one day with no problem. Or sometimes I add the left side to one day, and then spread out the right side over a few days - do two days of storytime on one day, two days of math on a day, and on a day we're already doing handwriting or Rod & Staff I'll just have them do two days worth. You could just work up until summer and then take a regular summer break. Then, when summer is over just pick it back up where you left off.

Working through the summer can wear you out for the upcoming year, unless you are a year-round schooler and have scheduled breaks. Just food for thought.
