Bigger with a 4 Day schedule
Bigger with a 4 Day schedule
Anyone adjust Bigger to make it a four day schedule? I'm going to need to do it this way next year, so if anyone has any experience that 'd be helpful. I'd prefer not to squeeze more into the days, but rather just do a little less.

Actually, I change that...I am open to squeezing some things, if it works.

Re: Bigger with a 4 Day schedule
If I wanted to do "5 days worth" in 4 days I would make 2 days "big" and two days "small." I'd pick one day and double up on the "history" portion, and another day and double up on the "basics" portion. The other two days I would do the suggested amount.

Re: Bigger with a 4 Day schedule
Patience,
You could just do 4 day schedule with Bigger using it as written 4 days a week. Then, you would go 9 weeks into the next school year to finish it. We've done it this way with some of our guides at our house in the past, and it actually worked out well to just pick it back up after our summer break and know exactly what we were doing. Then, after 9 weeks of the next year, we got to head into the next guide and have that "new feeling" again. I was surprised that I liked doing it that way. Just another option.
Blessings,
Carrie

Carrie, thanks! That's a good idea. I hadn't thought of doing that. Thank you!

Re: Bigger with a 4 Day schedule
We've been doing what Carrie suggested, only with Beyond. It is working out great!
I'd rather do that than double up or miss out.
