Conference Question

Post by jensmom » Sat Feb 14, 2009 12:40 pm

Just wondering if there are generally any conference discounts or packages offered? There are some items that I really want to see before I purchase so I am lookinbg forward to the conference this summer, but I am also wondering if it is a good idea to wait and purchase at the conference? Also, are there other items to purchase at the conferences that are not available online? (HOD shirts, etc)

Looking forward to Atlanta, July 31-Aug 1. :D

Thank you!

Good question I was actually wondering about some of this this past week as I am hoping to be able to attend CHAP this year (first I have to find out if they are coming to CHAP)

Just checked the schedule. They are going to be in TX. :(

I got to meet Carrie and Julie last year in Kansas City. Besides themselves  :D , there was nothing at the booth that isn't online. I purchased my things at the conference, and loved being able to take most of it home with me. (They had to ship a few things that they were out of.) Purchasing at the conference there was no shipping charge, but the prices were the same. However, purchasing at the conference, I paid the local sales tax. (I'm not sure if they charge sales tax online, too. I'm going to check that out before April. Because it may even out and be just as simple to order everything I need online for next year.)

Ladies,

Since we attend so few conventions, we do have our discount packages online year round so that all moms can save no matter whether you get to attend a convention or not. Each package also has its own discount, so the discounts really do add up to be a lot off our your total purchase price. :D

At convention, we do have our books for sale for you to be able to take home that day. If we do run out of anything, we will ship you for free anything that you order at convention. Kathleen is right, however, that you will pay sales tax at the convention. When ordering online, there is no sales tax, but you do pay shipping.

Blessings,
Carrie
