Book List for DITHOR

Post by mattilda » Mon Feb 09, 2009 3:09 pm

I have Beyond (which has book suggestions for genres) and I have looked throught the books sold on the website. Is buying the book list still helpful? Does it have many more books than the ones I have mentioned? I don't mind spending the money as long as there are many more suggestions. Thanks for any help!

Yes, it does have many more suggestions! It has suggestions for each genre, ande then for each genre, it's broken down by levels 2/3, 4/5, and 6/7/8. To give you a better idea of how many suggestions, for Fantasy level 2/3, there are 24 book titles, for Fantasy level 4/5, there are 17 titles, and for Fantasy level 6/7/8, there are 12 suggestions. So, it's a pretty extensive list! I also like that it's broken down even further into grade levels. For example, in the 2/3 list, some books will say grades 1-3, others 2-4, others 3+, etc. So you get a better idea of the reading level too. I have found it worthwhile, not just for DITHOR, but just as a list of great literature to read with my kids over the coming years! Hope this helps!
