Whew! All is right in my world now that the boards are back

Post by MamaMary » Sun Feb 03, 2008 7:38 am

 It was horrible. I got my whole order Friday morning and I couldn't come share?! :? (though I understand it was the hosting company)

Well, let me give you the details...,

Friday I teach at a co-op all day and did not expect my order that quickly. Imagine my surprise when I walked through the door and saw all my boxes sitting there! My husband had a silly grin on his face.

However, we have friends down from the Chicago area and they were coming to dinner in about two hours. We were also have a bunch of teens over to eat and hang out with us, so I had to walk "BY" the boxes and get to work. My friend from Chicago is a homeschooler so I made the decision that this would just be one of our activities. She would help me open my boxes. (she's also my Olive Organized friend so she could help me organize them, LOL)

Let me just say, even her HUSBAND was going through my books and we started talking about history?!

Her name is Lani and she will be placing her order very soon! :P

I blogged the event!

Oh Mary you certainly have patience!!! I don't think I could have waited so long! How much fun though to have your friend there to enjoy it with.

I glad you are pleased with everything.

Blessings,
Sharon

Mary enjoyed your blog! I am living your polar opposite world. I have just one boy and five girls. I look at your blog and it looks so foreign to me. My poor son. My son is going to his first big guy sleep over (down the street) and we are doing pedicures and chick flicks. But I will say this. Your world does look happy and sweet. Makes me want another boy.

Glad you are excited! Let us know about your first day!

Mary,

What a wonderful blog. You brought tears to my eyes with your hearfelt comments and all of your neat pictures. It really struck me and my husband both to see the books we shipped here sitting on your kitchen table and feeling your joy as you and your precious friend went through it all.

We never get to see that side of the products as we send them out, and it made it so real to us that you are welcoming us into your home and sharing your families with us. What a privilege!

Thanks again!
Carrie

Box day is always so fun! I'm glad you finally got to post. I missed the boards too. My hubby says I'm an HOD board junkie.

Hi Mary - You've got a wonderful blog! Only hs moms could make a party out of opening a box full of books!!

I, too, missed all you guys. I kinda dropped all other forums for this one...so I was a little lonely!
