Second day doing BLHFHG

Post by yayadaisy » Tue Jan 20, 2009 11:16 am

Wow! I am so happy with how things are going right now. We took our kids out of PS last week and this is our first week home schooling again. A little history: We home schooled last year with MFW and then I found HOD in April and started doing that. Planned on home schooling this fall, but due to some things was not able to, but now we are doing it again. Yea!!!! My two kids doing BLHFHG are doing pretty good. I was concerned it would not fit both of them but it really does. I do different math and phonics with each of them, but everything else is the same how nice!!!!! Then I just do some phonics (very slowly with my 5 yr. who is DD) and letters and numbers and it seems to be going okay. I am just so happy that I love it so much. I missed it so much when they were in PS. Even the kids are happier saying they are glad to be home again, they can do so much more other stuff now. Just wanted to share my happiness.

Yeah! I remember your post back in December about trying to decide what to do, I'm so happy for you that your children are back at home and the curriculum is working so well for all of them. It's a great feeling having them all in the "nest". :D Thanks for sharing your great week!!

Sheila,

I'm glad to hear that you're settling back in with your kiddos at home. It's wonderful to hear that your plan is working well and that the levels are right for your kiddos. What a blessing! :D

Thanks for sharing!
