New Book Packs for Level 4/5 are up on the web!

Post by Carrie » Sun Jan 11, 2009 3:32 pm

Ladies,

The much anticipated Level 4/5 Boy Interest and Girl Interest Sets for Drawn into the Heart of Reading are up on the website thanks to our hard-working web designer Tom! HOORAY, TOM! :D

Here's a link, so you can take a peek:

Level 4/5 Boy Interest Set: http://heartofdakota.com/DITHOR45-boys-pack.php
Level 4/5 Girl Interest Set: http://heartofdakota.com/DITHOR45-girls-pack.php

My 4th grade son has been enjoying these books with DITHR this year very much! He's even liked the Girl Interest ones to read during his free reading time!

I only have a few minutes to pop-in today, but I'll be back tomorrow to see what you ladies have been up to!

Blessings,
Carrie

I couldn't wait! I peeked! And these look like great books!!

Since, we'll be going into Preparing this coming year, DITHOR is scheduled 3 times a week, right? SOO, this pack would take us through 2 years (plus an extra genre), right? I'm thinking this is what I'll want to go with. We're doing the level 2 pack this year and really enjoying it, but Grant is reading other books at a higher reading level than the ones we're using for DITHOR. The books in the level 3 pack look great, too, though. It's settled, I'll just have to get them to read independently. He's actually taken off and loves to sit and read whenever he gets a chance. 8)

Gotta go for real this time!

Great job Carrie and Tom, it looks great! :D

The books look soooooo good and I really appreciate the detailed description given for each title. We can hardly wait to reach the point when we can incorporate them into our schooling.
I didn't really think it was possible, but HOD just keeps getting better and better! So glad to be a part of it! :P

Those look awesome! I think we'll have to get both when the time comes. It's really neat for me to see the books you pick out, for all the different packages, because many are ones I enjoyed as a child and I am looking forward to my kiddos enjoying them too as they get older.
Momma to my 4 sweeties:
DD 14 - MTMM and DITHOR (completed LHFHG, Beyond, Bigger, Preparing, CTC, took a couple years off, and now she's back!)
DS 11 and DD 9 - Preparing(completed 2 rounds of LHTH, LHFHG, Beyond, and Bigger)
DD 6 - LHFHG

I love finding good books I read from my childhood too, and many I somehow missed reading! Each one is such a treasure. I look forward to bringing out our new book packages SO much! Our Boy Interest and Girl Interest Sets for Storytime for the upcoming ancients guide are equally as exciting. :D Plus, with one book from each genre, we are also very balanced, which is a tough thing to do in literature study!

Blessings,
Carrie
