Everyone chime in-how long is your school day?

And what program(s) are you using? With what ages?

I am "finishing" Beyond with my daughter-2nd grade. We used it last year, and now are using the emergent readers list and the spelling lists-will do the last 6 weeks of the plans once we finish the other. Never finished last school year.

Bigger Hearts for His Glory takes me about 3 to 3 1/2 hours to do, including DITHOR, Level 2/3, using with ds age 8

Little Hearts for His Glory takes us about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to do, including additional phonics instruction, using with ds almost age 5

We're in Week 18 of Bigger... now, so it goes just like clockwork. Also, we're in our second year of LHFHG, since I did just half of the plans at a time at the end of last school year and at the beginning of this school year - just started doing all of the plans in one day last week. So, we've had plenty of time to get into a great rhythm!

It takes us around 2-4 hours total time for Bigger But 30 minutes to an hour is her copying poetry, working on handwriting, doing the work book from DITHOR if we get finished early we do fun art ect.

If she is digging in her heels and we are not finished with a page we just finish it the next day.

We are on Unit 7 but we were finishing up beyond till mid October. And then were doing half days for the first 2 months. I plan on doing Bigger over 2 years.

Mine takes about 5 1/2 to 6 hours but I have really an extra study that we do and a child with special needs plus six all together. So we are not typical. I could easily see BHFG being 3 hours and LHFG being 1 1/2 hours. I could also see some of that time really overlapping so it could all be done in about 4 hours with normal circumstances and sometimes we do days like that with our school depending on if we have doctor appointments or not.
