It's Box Day!!!!

Post by shera » Wed Jan 30, 2008 4:23 pm

I just got my box! My ds asked me what was in the box so both of my kids were crowded around me pulling all of the books out and looking at them. I told ds these are his new school books. He was so excited. Then dd pointed to a flyer with the pre -k program on it and said this is my school books. (I hadn't ordered anything for her yet) My ds found the cd and insisted that I open it and we listen to it.

Very 8)

Now I am going to take a closer look at the stuff in the next 30 min before karate. So far though everything looks great! Now if my Rainbow Resource stuff would get here we will be all set.

Yay Sarah! Sounds like your kids are even excited!

Sara grabbed the Beginner's Bible and looked through it for about an hour! That's a first!

Anyway....do you go to karate for kids by chance??

Doing the happy dance for you! :D  :D

I am so mean I just let them see the covers and maybe one page and away they go. Just enough to make them die to see them. Then they go into the vault until the unveiling day. I make a big deal every time I bring out a new book. I know there is something wrong with me. But gotta keep them excited.

Very exciting, Sarah! You're going to know those CD songs well - my oldest son STILL sings them along with his younger brother when it's music time. It actually seems they are having a type of contest about who can sing them louder, and my baby seems to happily howl along with them - it's a very loud time at our house (even the dog OUTSIDE has been known to YOWWWLLLL along with them). Enjoy - can't wait for you to get started!
