Ok, so I placed an order for Cheerful Cursive and when the package got here it had a HOD catalog in it. My darling 8 year old son was so excited when he saw the HOD catalog!

He was so excited to see the picture of Bigger Hearts on the cover and the picture of Little Hearts on the cover. The added bonus for him was that there was a picture of more after his!!! He saw the picture of Preparing and Drawn Into The Heart of Reading and was so excited that he'll be able to do more school that is like what he is doing...
Just HAD to share.

So great that you would share this!
I have had a catalog ever since I ran across HoD (or more like God made me find it!) and a friend from my local HS group brought me her Bigger material to look over and gave me a catalog (thanks Christy in TX).
Tonight I placed my order for Bigger and DITHOR! I cannot wait until I get everything in the mail!!!! We begin our HS journey in January!!!

Oh Summer, this sure does my heart good to hear! I got to help design the catalog, and it is wonderful to hear that dc are enjoying it too!

Comments like these are so encouraging, and they refuel HOD's "tank" to keep on with this vision.
And Amy, I am celebrating along with you! We did BHFHG/DITHOR last year, and you are in for a real treat. Thanks for sharing, and definitely share your "Box day" here - it's a bit of an HOD tradition!
In Christ,
Julie

Summer,
I love to hear kiddo's (and parent's) comments on the catalog, as it was an immense labor of love! My beloved sister, my3sons, wrote much of the catalog or it never would have gotten done! The graphic designer and I were awake into the wee hours of many mornings placing every image in the catalog!
I'm so excited that your little guy was inspired by it and that he is enjoying his homeschool journey with HOD! Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to share his joy with us!
Blessings,
Carrie

Summer,
Your son's enthusiamsm is so neat, thank you for sharing with us!
It is wonderful to have our children become excited about the path that they are traveling, especially when it comes to a godly education. It sure warms the heart for us Mommies and gives reassurance that we are doing the right thing.
And something about the HOD catalog, as wrinkled and loved as mine is, I always keep it on my nightstand so it is just a reach away! Who knew a little catalog could bring so much joy?
Amy,
Let us know when you get your goodies, there is nothing better than box-day!

Julie & Carrie,
The catalog is beautiful! You all did a fantastic job on it and you should be very proud of yourselves. Your hard work is shining through it and by the sounds of it, it is doing more then just show casing your products, it's touching people's hearts!
Amy,
Congratulations on beginning your homeschool journey! It's not always easy or fun but the rewards are so worth it. There is much joy on this path!

ok now I am curious IS THERE A NEW catalog? The one I have I can not put down.... I just love looking through it... Like Julie said I just thumb through it and love to look~ it encourages me so much.
When I first heard of HOD... and I WASN'T using it ..... I called to ask if they could send me a box of catalogs to give to all the moms in our hs-ing group. They sent me a box full. I gave them all out. Well, except for 2 that I wanted to keep. ONE of those safe JUST in case the OTHER one gets lost
Amy, let us know when your box arrives~ I love "box" day

grace & peace,
Teena

Teena,
There will be a new catalog coming out by the first week of April with our new products in it. We'll have the new product up on our website long before that though!
Blessings,
Carrie

I was so excited that HOD sent me another catalog when I placed a very small order for the Suggested Book List ($5.00)! I have given away my other two copies to friends, and now I have one of my own!
I also realized the other day that I can finally clean out my homeschool catalog cupboard. I have a whole cupboard crammed full of old curriculum catalogs. Don't need 'em anymore now that we are full Hoddie converts!!!
