We are using DITHOR this year for the first time! We love it and my oldest daughter asks to do it almost everyday! We just completed the Adventure genre and read Toliver's Secret. I loved the book as much as she did! when it was all said and done, Krystle wrote her own adventure story about a little girl during the revolutionary war who also had a secret to share that helped with the war! She was so proud of herself and completely self initiated! Anyone who came over she asked if they would like to hear her story!
Thanks, Carrie, for putting together a great, great guide! We are loving it!

Re: DITHOR
Jessica,
I'm so glad you and your daughter are having a wonderful time with DITHR! Toliver's Secret is a great book. My boys loved it too.
That is so terrific that your daughter was inspired to write her own adventure story. My boys are story-writers too, especially adventures!
Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Carrie
