since I've chimed in, but my laptop crashed and unfortunately can't be fixed until we return to the states for Christmas. Anyway, I just wanted to announce that we recently found out baby #4 is on the way and due in July!

I also need prayer, because the prospect of having baby here in Mexico so far from home makes me a little sad

I know God is in the details and has all my cares in His hands, I think I'm just a tad hormonal and therefore weepy

You girls are great and I just had to let all my HOD'ies know we were expecting!

Congratulations Amey. That is wonderful. I can completely understand not wanting to have your baby away from home. I am praying that God brings you the perfect medical staff and the perfect comfort for you while you are away from home.

All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13

Amey,
That's so wonderful!!!!! Must be the time for pregnancies...I know of several who just found out their expecting! I would be concerned about delivering so far from home but think about how exciting it will be that your child will have dual citizenship! And you live in such a beautiful place...rest assured God is in the details!! Hope you have a happy and healthy nine months.

We've missed you, Amey! I would feel the same way you do. I love my family dearly, and I too would be heartsick about them not being there for the birth of my baby - but I bet God has a beautiful gift of drawing you and your dh especially close to one another in mind - and that can turn out to be a blessed gift after all! I do believe a baby truly makes a "home", and having another child will continue to bless you and your dh's family. I always think of the pioneers and how they often had no neighbors very near to them. Those little families were tight-knit - they had each other, and each other only. While I don't want to go back to pioneer days

, there is something very bonding about going through life's most important experiences with only our dh's within our reach. The times that has happened with my dh and I are etched in my mind - memories about when it felt like it was just he and I alone in it - and they are what has really made our family a family of our own. Praying blessings your way!!!
In Christ,
Julie

Thanks Julie for your kind words of encouragement

We visited the birth center last night and I am feeling much better about things. I think my Mom will fly out as well. Thanks for all your kind words ladies

Congrats, Amey. I'm so excited for you! I know it's a scary thought being so far from home, and sad too, but God has a plan for you and your family. Continue to trust Him to guide you. And keep us up-to-date about how things are going.
