I just sent you 11 to get started! I'm always taking pictures, so I'll be sure to send you more soon
Oh, I wanted to make sure you knew which kid was doing which guide. (since I didn't mention it in my email) They're both about the same size so it's hard to tell! My ds4...the little tan cutie, is doing LHTH and the little blonde chubby one is my 2yo that's tagging along for the fun. The curly red head is in Beyond.

So far we have 2 moms that have sent pics, and let me tell you... these kids are cutie pies with the best smiles!

And the comments were so neat to hear - I can't wait for Carrie to read them.

Thanks LeAnna and Tamara - you 2 have gotten the LHTH and LHFHG guides off to a good start. Tamara mentioned this great tip I'd like to share here (hope that's o.k. Tamara

):
This free Picasa program is by far the easiest to email pics from. You get it from Google, upload pics to it from your camera, it searches for all the pics in your computer, then you click on the pics and hit email. Easy breezy.
So, that sounds like a great way to share pics too!!
In Christ,
Julie

Julie, I just sent you an email that has pictures from units 1-9 in it.....could you just let me know if you got it and it is in the right format since I'm not really sure I did it right. I sent links from photobucket, I'm not sure if it comes to you in link form or if it shows you the picture directly or in it didn't work at all. Let me know if you need me to resend pictures ok?
Thanks

Ladies,
I just have to pop-in and say that I am so excited about this!

Julie has been wanting to have a digital picture frame and photos in a flipbook for years, and I have always been overwhelmed at the thought of how to get it done!

So, she has graciously taken this over, and I am thrilled that moms at bookfairs will be able to glimpse HOD in your homes!
We try very hard to be a personal company, and this is one way to REALLY personalize HOD for everyone who stops by the booth. Thanks in advance to all of you servant-hearted ladies who are planning to help out in this way. You are a blessing to us.
Blessings,
Carrie

Kelly - I sent you an email, but I wanted to get back to you here too. I completely enjoyed looking at all of your pics of your precious little girl.

She is so precious - and she's got me thinking how lovely it would be to have more girls around here where I am outnumbered 4:1 by males.

Thank you for doing that so much! Whenever you get a chance, if you could please include up to 5 sentences about why you love HOD in a nutshell, too, that would be super. I'd love to put your comments in the flipbooks then. I am getting so excited to begin putting this together! Thanks for contributing, Kelly.
In Christ,
Julie

Kathleen - Thanks for sending all of those wonderful pics!

It's like a little happy gift when I open them each time. Your dc are the picture of sunshine, and the outdoor lover in me is enjoyng how you find creative ways to do HOD outside - like standing near a river as you act out placing baby Moses in the reeds. Priceless! And, perhaps it is because I have all boys, but your dd is so much fun to "watch" doing HOD for me through looking at your pictures. I can tell your dc enjoy doing school, and love having you as their teacher. Thanks for being willing to send me your pictures!
In Christ,
Julie

I haven't taken any pictures recently, so I finally had a chance to dig through some of the photos from the summer. Hope they are ok.

Julie - Thank you for your kind words! Taking pictures of our HOD fun...is FUN! My kids love to sit by the computer and see the screensaver flip through our old pictures (and they can remember the fun things we've done...with HOD and lots of other things).

They'll love to hear that you think they look like "sunshine"!

PS...The "river" we used was actually a farm pond in our neighbor's pasture

...that now happens to be full of hedgeballs thanks to my dc.
