Preparing - hieroglyphics project in unit 5

Post by wdworkman » Thu Sep 25, 2008 9:04 am

We're doing our hieroglyphics in clay today. It says to use half of the clay that we made yesterday. Do we need to save the other half for another day or can we go ahead & do something with it?

Gosh, I hope we weren't supposed to save it--I let the 6 year old use that half to make one for himself. :D We did it a little differently than the instructions. We wrote the boys names in 3 different languages like the Rosetta Stone. They had a blast. I love the activities in Preparing... :)

I'm not there yet, but I looked ahead through about Unit 11, and unless I missed it - I don't think you'll need the other half of the clay to do Preparing... :D We are in Unit 4 of Preparing..., and we are loving the projects too! :D
