Just wondering .... curious. Very pleased with this curriculum.


How long has HOD been out?

How long has the board been here?

How many Ladies here?

How many of you have children that are older than the HOD?

Will Carrie continue through the high school years?


I have older children.... we have 4 olders. Two of them I am hs-ing the others have finished. Michael in 2003, Mandi in 2007. Dakota is 10th. Alyssa 5th. Then our boys doing LHFHG~ we have used lots of hodge podge through the years. HOD is an answer to prayer for my boys. They are only 17 months apart.

I have one who is technically older then the HOD years, but he is doing the reading curriculum because he's enjoyed it so much through the years.
I cant' say how long for sure, but I know I've used HOD since...2001? I think? The boards started this year, or late last year, I think.
Carrie has made plans to continue the guides for a long stretch-there are a few threads here about that, but I can't seem to get my computer to search right now! argh! I think there's a 4 year history cycle plan.

Hi There,
The board started in Aug, 2007.
Not sure when HOD started, we found them in 2004.
Carrie will continue putting out one guide a year (at least that is the plan barring any unforseen circumstances). At this point she hasn't stated intentions to do high school, just up through 8th grade.
