Book list?

Post by slavila » Tue Aug 12, 2008 2:00 pm

Does anyone have a good resource for finding books to supplement the subjects we are working on. I like to go to the library and get books related to the science and history we are studying. I was wondering if maybe someone had a good website or something that you can just type in your subject and grade and get a list of books. Thanks!

A great book to have for supplementing history is "All Through the Ages" by Christine Miller. It lists books by time period then by grade (1-3, 4-6. 7-9,10-12). I also like to look at catalogs like Veritas Press and I check out amblesideonline.com.

For science I usually just go to the card catalog and type in the subject we are studying
