I am switching

Post by eazbnsmom » Fri Aug 01, 2008 7:03 pm

I was planning on using LHFHG for my younger boys and MFW CtG for my older girls, but the more I looked at "preparing" and saw the of the future guides, and prayed and talked to dh & dsis and the more I planned for MFW, the more unconvinced I became that it was the program for us. It is a great program, but PHFHG seems even better.....so I am selling my TM & stuff and going with Preparing. I am so excited. :)

Wow we could be twins! I did the same exact thing and I have never looked back. It was a very hard decision but one that I have never regretted and thank God for having made. So just want to say yahooooo with you. I think sometimes you just know like that. :D

We made the EXACT same decision, with the exact programs. Thank you for your post. Until I received my guide yesterday, I was really beginning to second-guess my decision to switch. But now that I have it in hand, I'm very excited and think it will be great.

I am so glad for you. Last year I found HOD and really wanted to use Bigger. However, I had already purchased Sonlight, so I decided to keep it and use it. BIG MISTAKE! I should have sold it and used HOD. Now, I'm excited to begin our first year of HOD using Preparing and LIttle Hands.

I think you and your family will love using Preparing. :) My Preparing guide arrived yesterday and it looks wonderful! :D :D :D :D :D So complete and fun and so God honoring. Each time I read through one of Carrie's guides I am amazed at what a great program she has been able to put together. I don't think you will be disappointed with your choice. :)
